Hello Fall and Happy Thanksgiving

 Hello and Welcome

Fall is such a lovely time of the year and we have been so enjoying it with collecting leaves, singing Fall songs and just being outside observing all the change that is happening.

We celebrated our Canadian Thanksgiving by making lots of turkeys.

We were sure to also do lots of Fall creating.

We Love Fall

 Welcome

We love the crispness of Fall, collecting leaves and appreciating all the leaves changing colours.

It has been such a fantastic Fall where I live with warmer days and cool nights.

We have learned about a lot of different trees and identifying leaves.

So, here's what we've been up to the last few weeks.

Fall and Lots of Squirrels

 Good Morning

We've been super busy, as usual, creating and learning.

The kids wanted to know more about all the squirrels we see on our walk to the park so that's what we explored this month.

Here is what we've been up to.

Fun, Creative and Learning Times

 Hello

As always, we have been keeping busy with lots of fun, creative and learning times.

Winter weather is just about to arrive, so we are finishing up with our Fall activities and we will be moving onto Christmas soon.

So, here's what we've been up to.

Paper Bag Scarecrow

Crows

Scarecrow Mask

Blowing Leaves

This was so fun to make.  I took an old tissue box and cut off the front.

The kids coloured a picture of trees and we glued it to the back for the scene.  Next we filled up the box with leaves I had punched out of different colours and then I covered the front with a piece of plastic wrap.

I added a straw to the top and when the kids blew into the straw, it made all the leaves blow around.
