Apples

 Welcome
Fall is such a great time to go apple picking for many.
I thought we would do a fun theme of apples, some simple crafts easy for little hands.
We even found the 'star' in the middle of the apple!

So, here's what we did last week.

Apple Tree
We did some fine motor with picking up the circles and gluing them onto the tree.

Apple Puppet
Simple puppet cut and glue activity.

Apple Counting
I cut the apples out and the kids glued the seeds on.  Great counting activity and number recognition.

Squirrels and Hedgehogs

 Welcome
Another busy week being outside and then creating when inside.
At this time of year, I thought we would do a theme about squirrels and hedgehogs.
We've seen lots of squirrels but no hedgehogs, but we know they are around.

So here's what we did last week.

Squirrels
We learned about where the squirrels live and some of the food they like to eat.
We saw where the squirrels had dug holes in my garden, trying to dig up my bulbs I presume.
We used a paper cup as the body and glued on the details.

Hedgehog
This fun printable was easy to make.

Standing Squirrels

Squirrel Mask
We pretended to be squirrels looking for some acorns.

Back to School

 Welcome

Another busy week at my house enjoying the last days of summer and back to school.
We still always find time to create.  It is such a self-esteem booster, builds confidence, helps fine motor skills and offers a multitude of learning opportunities.

So, here's what we did last week.

School Bus
We live down the street from a school so we are seeing school buses drive by all the time.
This cute printable was fun to make.

Name School Bus
I printed off this school bus and we added the kid's names in the windows.
A great way to reinforce learning to recognize their names.

Let's Read
We love to read and this cute printable was fun to make.

Cats and Dogs

 Welcome
Last week was a simple one....cats and dogs.
We tried to enjoy as much outside time as we could before 2 of my littles start school, but managed to craft a bit too.

So here's what we did last week.

Paper Plate Pups
We used one paper plate as the bas and a folded on glued on top for the mouth.
The kids glued and coloured them.

Standing Cat
This printable is HERE

3-D Cat
Another fun printable found HERE.

Pink Kittens
Simple kittens with rolled bodies.

Standing Dog

Cone Shaped Cats
I made a cone from purple paper and we decorated them.

Paper Cup Pups
These simple pups were made using a white paper drinking cup.

Off to School
Since 2 of my littles are off to school, I gave them these printouts to decorate as themselves.

Thanks so much for coming by and taking a look.
