Butterflies, Bees and Ladybugs

 Hello and Welcome
Another busy week with my littles.

Ladybug
Simple ladybug made by rolling some black paper and adding the wings.

Butterflies
We are always on the search for butterflies on our walks.
We made these cute ones that stand up.

Life Cycle of the Butterfly

Bumble Bee
This cute little guy was made by shaping a cone from yellow paper and adding the details.

Bee Hive
One of my kiddos wanted to make a bee hive to further their play.
We rolled some paper into a circle, stapled it at the top and this is how it turned out.

Bee Life Cycle
This printable was a good one to learn about how bees begin and grow.

Banana Pop
I made these simple banana pops that the kids enjoyed.
Take 1/2 a banana, add the stick, then cover with vanilla yogurt.
I added some coloured sprinkles for fun and then freeze them.

Well thanks for coming by and taking a look.

Summertime

 Hello and Welcome
The weather has been so great and we just want to celebrate that it is Summer!
Lots of fun creating after spending lots of time outside.

So here's what we did last week.

Pool Unicorn
My kids love Unicorns so I found this cute project and they loved it.

Pinwheels
We made these fun pinwheels and decorated them with some leaves that were left over from Canada Day.

Sunglasses
We made these fun glassed and added some see through green cello to the lenses.

Spiral Mermaid

Beach Bag
This cute little craft was a printable beach bag with all that we would take to the beach.
It really made for some fun dramatic play, as the kids pretended to go to the beach.

Sandcastles
We made some fun sandcastles to use while pretending to be at the beach.

Well that's it for this week.
Thanks so much for coming by and taking a look.
