 Hello

As always, we have been keeping busy with lots of fun, creative and learning times.

Winter weather is just about to arrive, so we are finishing up with our Fall activities and we will be moving onto Christmas soon.

So, here's what we've been up to.

Blowing Leaves

This was so fun to make.  I took an old tissue box and cut off the front.

The kids coloured a picture of trees and we glued it to the back for the scene.  Next we filled up the box with leaves I had punched out of different colours and then I covered the front with a piece of plastic wrap.  

I added a straw to the top and when the kids blew into the straw, it made all the leaves blow around.

Getting Ready for Halloween

 It's Halloween season and my little ones are filled with excitement.

All the decorations and getting ready for the big day is so fun.

We've been traveling the neighbourhood looking at all the amazing decorated houses and creating lots of fun projects for them to take home and decorate with.

So, here's what we did the past few weeks.

…. and finally, we made a full sized SCARECROW for the front using some pool noodles and stuffing.

The kids loved crunching up the paper and stuffing him full.

Happy Thanksgiving

 Welcome

Here in Canada, we celebrated our Thanksgiving at the beginning of October.

We had fun making lots of turkeys and learning about them.

So, here's what we got up to.

Sitting Turkeys

I made a brown paper cone and we decorated them to look like turkeys.

Inflatable Turkey

We used a plastic glove, decorated it with feathers and details and I added it over a cup with a straw.  

When the kids blew into the straw, the turkey would inflate.
