Winter Theme

 Welcome 

Another fun week of creating for us here at my house.

This past week we continued to talk about and create with our Winter theme.

So here's what we did.

Paper Roll Snowman

This cute little guy was made using paper rolls cut into different lengths.

Easy and fun to decorate.

Let's Go Skating

This is a simple interactive craft we did. I printed out the skater and glued it onto a piece of heavy cardboard to make it more sturdy.  My kids coloured them up, then we glued on a popsicle stick to the back.  Using a paper plate as our skating rink, I cut a slit across the plate and we added the skater into that.

Feed the Birds

Here is a simple printout we used to make a bird feeder.

Going Sledding

It's amazing how long my kids were entertained and had fun playing with this cute little craft.  

I laid a long piece of paper from the table to the floor and they were able to slide their people down to the floor.  They loved it and the cooperation and taking turns was such a wonderful thing to see.

Ice Skates

I simply printed these out and after the kids coloured them, we added a stick as the skate blades.
