Mom's Special Day

 Phew!
I am very behind in posting but I wanted to show our Mother's Day creations as my kiddos did such a great job and the Moms were all so pleased with receiving them.

So, here's what we did for MOM.

Wooden Plaques
I found these layered wooden plaques and the kids glued tissue paper squares on the back layer, coloured the second layer with markers and then we kept the top layer plain as to show the details.

Wooden Wall Hangers
Again, found these at the Dollar Store and the kids coloured them.

Mother's Day Card
I traced the kids hands and we made a card.

Love You MOM!

 Hello
Last week we kept busy creating some fun things for all the MOMS!
The kids just love surprising their parents with their creativeness.

So, here's what we did last week.

Flower Wall Hanging
I glued craft sticks together and the kids decorated them with some fun foam flowers.

Paper Fans
This folding fan was simple to make.

Handprint Flowers

My Mom
Just a fun one...always interesting to hear the kids answers to these.

Mother's Day Cards

Craft Stick Vase

Plastic Spoon Flowers
I used some white plastic spoons to make flowers for the kids to put in their vases.

...and finally a Bag to wrap it all up into

Thanks for coming by and taking a look.

All About MOM!

 Good Morning
Last week we celebrated our Moms with lots of creating.

The kids get so excited when making anything for their parents. This is such a new thing for my littlest ones as they are just learning to craft and they love it.

So, here's what we did last week.

Mother's Day Bouquet
We made these sweet bouquets for our Moms and added the poem on the back.

Flower Holder
I glued these flower holders together and the kids decorated them.
On the inside there is a plastic bottle so it can hold real flowers and water but could also be used for pencils etc.

MOM
I used some low tack tape to mask off the letters and the kids scribbled all over the paper.
I removed the tape to reveal the 'MOM' and the kids decorated with some flowers.
Great activity for the very young who are learning how to hold a pencil/crayon.

Well off for another busy, crafty filled week.
