Hello
Fall is such a wonderful time of year. My kiddos just love getting outside and collecting leaves.
I love seeing all the colours of Fall happening, it's also such a great time for learning.
We also celebrate our Canadian Thanksgiving so lots was happening.
So, here's what we did the last couple weeks.
Fall Banners
Playing in the Leaves
Paper Strip Pumpkins
I cut some paper strips and we looped them together to make these cute little pumpkins.
Pumpkin Colouring
Chipmunk
So, we have 3 chipmunks in our backyard that the kids love seeing and feeding.
They absolutely loved making this craft.
Leaf Fairies Puppets
Happy Thanksgiving
Turkey Shelf Sitters
The turkeys were also a big hit with the kids.
I created a cone shape for the body and the kids decorated them.
Thanksgiving Placemats
I printed off the turkey for the kids to colour, then we decorated them.
I covered them with some clear contact paper so they can be wiped clean.
Turkey Book
I printed off this turkey book and we made the feather on a stick to use with the story.
In the story, the feather tickles and the turkey runs away.
Pinecone Turkeys
This was definitely the hit of the week.
We collected pinecones which the kids loved doing. I hot glued them onto a piece of cardboard for stability, and the kids added colourful feathers to decorate them.
I hope you are enjoying the Fall as much as we are.
Thanks so much for coming by and taking a look.
