Spring Flowers

Welcome

I am behind with posting, had to be off last week due to illness but doing great now!
We are loving our outside time and seeing all the flowers finally blooming in the neighbourhood.
It gives us such a good chance to talk about how plants grow, the colours they are and how to care for them.  A great learning experience with lots of excitement from the kids when they see them popping out of the ground.  Some of the kids can even name the flowers which is great.

So here's what we did during Spring Flowers week.

Daffodils
I printed off these daffodils and the kids coloured them.  We added the rolled yellow buds to the centers.

Tulip Wreath
Simple wreath of paper tulips.

Snow Drops
These are one of the first flowers we saw in the gardens popping up.  So pretty.

Hyacinths
Simple hyacinths done with added rolled paper buds.
*gotta love the butterfly one of my kids added seen in the picture*

Thanks so very much for coming by and taking a look.
Have a great week.
