This past week, we decided to celebrate summer with lots of watermelon and strawberry crafts.
Some of my little ones have been strawberry picking so I thought it would be a fun theme to work on.
So here's what we did last week.
Strawberry Puppets
Simple puppets
Watermelon Fans
We created these fun fans using half of a paper plate.
They loved gluing on the seeds...good fine motor practice too!
Watermelon Banner
Simple watermelon banner made with paper plates.
Paper Strawberries
Simple folded strawberries glued onto a piece of pink construction paper.
Paper Popsicles
The kids wanted to make some paper popsicles and that lead to making an ice-cream store. They had such fun pretending to sell ice-cream and popsicles on a hot day!
