Shark Week

 Welcome
Last week was so busy and we had fun with our 'SHARKS' theme.
The kids loved creating and learning about them.

So, here's what we did last week.

Paper Plate Shark
I used some black paper plates for our scary sharks with sharp teeth.

Jaws

Shark Hat
The kids loved wearing and pretending to be sharks.

Shark Game
This simple paper plate game was a fun one.
The kids coloured the shark and plate, then we glued it over the hole I cut in the plate.
They used a pom pom as the fish and holding the plate, tried to roll it into the shark's mouth.

Baby Shark
The kids loved this one and we sang 'Baby Shark' all day!

Thanks so much for coming by and taking a look.

Happy Valentine/ Friendship Day

 Welcome

Last week we had such wonderful fun creating, sharing and letting our friends and family know how much we care.
My littlest ones learned the shape 'heart' and the colour 'red'.
Lots happening with fun learning too.

So here's what we did last week.

Valentine Cards
We created these cute, fun cards for the Moms and Dads.

Valentine Holder
We needed something to hold all the Valentines we shared with each other so this is what we made.
I folded 2 paper plates and stapled them together, then the kids decorated them.

Valentine Hats
Simple hats made using a paper plate.

Valentine Windsock
Super simple windsock made with red paper and decorated with hearts and streamer.

Happy New Year!!

Happy New Year!
Christmas is gone, my kiddos are back in care and it was time to celebrate the New Year.

We had a very fun week and I think it's good for them to understand (as much as that is possible) that's it's fun to celebrate and welcome in the New Year.

So here's what we did....

We created a hat and decorated it with lots of coloured tape that I get from the Dollar Store.  I cut pieces and stick them to a cookie sheet so the kids can easily lift them off and stick them onto their projects.
The hat is easily created by cutting out 2 large circles and stapling them together.

Happy New Year stars.
The kids put shiny stars and glitter between 2 pieces of sticky contact paper and we glued them behind a star shape and added a stick.

Our 2020 Banner was created using paper plates and some contact paper.

Here is the wreath we made using a paper plate and stars.

We finished off the week with this cute snowy house picture.
This cute little printable house can be found here:
