Merry Christmas!!

 Merry Christmas

Such a busy time of year but I have to say, my kiddos had a blast creating surprises for their parents and family.  We sure kept busy as you will see.

So here's what we did.

The stockings were hung!

Paper Cup Rudolph

Paper Cup Santa

Gingerbread Houses

Gingerbread Men
We glued 2 pieces of brown paper together and stuffed them to make our Gingerbread Men.

Simple Trees

Santa Ornament

Jingle Bells
We wrapped a glitter pipe cleaner around a large popsicle stick, adding the bells as we wrapped.

Filling Santa's Sack

Gifts for the Parents

Simple Bookmarks
We made these using some contact paper and punched dots.

Wreath Ornaments

Cork Tags
We used a cork for the head and I used their fingerprints for the ears.

Santa Ornaments
We decorated some old CD's to create these fun ornaments.

Clothespin Rudolph

Snowmen
I cut the bottom of a water bottle off for the heads and we stuffed them with some white pompoms.
Added the details and hanger for the tree.

Clothespin Stars

Calendar
My baby needed to have something for the parents, so we traced her foot and hands to create this fun calendar.

Gum Ball Machine Ornaments
I hot glued this plastic ornament to a red cup.  We removed the hanger part and the kids added some peppermint M & M's.  After all the candy is gone, they can add some colourful pom poms or fill it with more candy next year.

Rudolph Christmas Card

Our Party

Here are some fun games we played at our party.

Rudolph Ring Toss

Snowball Toss
(the favourite of my littlest ones, they loved knocking down and setting back up)

Jingle Bell Toss
We threw large jingle bells into paper cups that were attached to a board.

Candy Cane Fishing

And we ate........

Chocolate Dipped Strawberry Rudolph

Oreo Snowmen

Our Elf on the Shelf

Just some of the mischief our little elf got into...much to the kids delight!!

Christmas is Coming

 Welcome
Lots of preparations and crafting is happening at my house right now as we get ready for the big day.
The kids are super excited and are anxious to get busy at the craft table.

So, here's what we did last week.

Christmas Countdown
This cute Santa will help the kids count down to Christmas.

Paper Plate Christmas Trees
The kids loved these little Christmas trees.
I cut a green paper plate in half, then rolled it into a cone shape.  I glued part of paper towel roll into the bottom and the kids decorated them.

Christmas Tree
Obviously my 2 yr old loves orange right now.

Poinsettia Wreaths
We made these simple poinsettias and glued them onto a paper plate wreath form.
